First look: Himmatwala

Ajay Devgan stars in the remake of the 80s hit Himmatwala that starred Jeetendra and Sridevi. This version directed by Sajid Khan stars Ajay Devgan and south star Tammanah. She is looking really hot in the first posters of the film holding a whip. Kind of reminds us of Sridevi in Chaalbaaz. This film is a absolute ode to the 80s of which director Sajid Khan is a huge fan. Sajid Khan is known to have been inspired by kitschy Bollywood films of the 80s. His tribute to Himmatwala is eveident with Ajay Devgan's poster with the 2 tigers which is hilarious. Almost as if it is a spoof of the 80s hit. Wonder what Sridevi and Jeetendra will have to say when they see these posters. Ajay Devgn looks suitable in the role of a Himmatwala. He is after all known for his macho roles having played Singham.
