Shikha Swaroop has ruled the Indian audience hearts with the portrayal of Chandrakanta, the story of a princess. The popular TV face is making a comeback after years in a mythological serial Ramayan. Shikha Swaroop will be seen playing Kaikayee in the most recent version of mythological show 'Ramayan'. Shikha Swaroop who is a former Miss India had bagged the role of Chandrakata 12 years ago. The show went on to become a very popular soap on Indian television. On being asked about her recent show, Shikha Swaroop Said, "I am excited about my role of Kaikeyee as essaying a warrior queen with shades of grey calls for an air of reality, poise that comes only with power, strength of character and a stern, steely body language. As a former beauty pageant winner and a model, over the years I have imbibed the art of composing my body language and carrying myself in a manner that projects the right image required for any role I play. I will enjoy playing such an iconic mythological character and hope to add my own charm and individuality to it."The latest version of Ramayan will be aired on Zee TV from the 12th of August.
